Tell us how you first met? 

Tara - Dustin and I both worked at a corporate restaurant as managers.  He worked at a location in Chambersburg and I worked in Mechanicsburg.  We started talking on the phone during our shifts about work (we were very competitive and like to see who ran the better numbers) and gradually about everything else.  One day, my boss asked me if I actually liked Dustin.  After thinking about it more, I decided yes I do, and I wanted to spend as much time with him as possible.  He was a tough one though, he never accepted any of my invitations to hang out for quite a while!  Finally, we all went out as a group - and the next day I took Dustin to a Phillies game.  It was all over after that!  We have been together ever since!

Dustin - Tara and I first met when we both worked at Red Robin together. We met when we were both kitchen managers when I was working at chambersburg and Tara was working at the Mechanicsburg location. We met about 4 years ago.

When did you know that he/she was the one?

Dustin - I knew that Tara was the one on our first date that we went on when she took me to a Phillies game. I knew that day that I would marry her

Tara - I think I knew before we started dating.  We would text all day everyday - I knew that I wanted to be with him.  After our first date, we were inseparable...I think we both just knew that we had finally met our match 

Besides getting married – whats the one thing you are looking forward to on your wedding day?

Tara - Seeing his face when I walk down the aisle!

Tell us about the proposal

Dustin - I waited until we went on a family vacation to Aruba in June 2012. We went with Tara's family. Her Dad and I went golfing where I asked his permission after the round. The last night we went to dinner alone and ate right on the beach at sunset. We talked for hours about our future and our relationship. After dinner, we went for a moonlit walk in the beach where I popped the question. And of course, she said yes.

Tara - I had always thought that Dustin would propose to me at the place of our first kiss.  But then our family decided to go to Aruba on a vacation - and I thought, there is NO way he could miss this opportunity.  1 day, 2 days, 3 days.... On the second to last day of our vacation, Dustin and I went out to dinner (for the first time - just the two of us).  We talked about our future, our plans, our goals.  I kept waiting... Finally, after dinner we went for a walk on the beach. Dustin got down on one knee and asked me to marry him!  Of course, I said yes!

Tell us the one thing you love most about each other

Tara - Dustin challenges me to be a better person.  I think we both do that to each other...whether its personal or professional we both support and challenge each other.

Dustin - The thing I love most about Tara is how much she loves and supports me. She is constantly challenging me and making me a better person. She is the most loving and supporting person in my life and makes everyday special. I am lucky to have her.

Besides getting married – whats the one thing you are looking forward to on your wedding day?

Besides marrying Tara, I am most looking forward to all out family and friends getting together to spend time together. It isn't to often that we all have time to get together and spend time hanging out. It will be a great time for all our friends and family to get to know each other in a more personal level.
